Style Inspiration

 I have had so much fun blogging these past couple of months, It's definitely a great creative outlet. I have the ability to create looks and share them with you, which I love doing. The other half of the 'blogosphere' I love is reading all the other blogs and gaining new style inspirations. Everyday I find a new blog and fall in love with a new style. 

Last month, as I was perusing new blogs I came across Annie from, The Other Side of Grey. She instantly became one of my favorite bloggers and I look forward to reading her posts everyday. When I saw this outfit I knew I wanted to recreate it with this blouse that has been sitting in my closet for about a year now. I've seriously only worn it once.. I think? Anyhow, When I saw Annie wear this I gasped because I loved her look so much. Go check out her blog because I'm sure you will love everything... I know I do!

Purple Skinnies

I was itching to wear my new purple skinny jeans and thought they would go perfect with these shoes. At first I put on just the black t-shirt but it looked really boring. I was running late so I wore it anyways and threw on my denim jacket just because it was a little chilly. As I ran out of my apartment I looked in the mirror and realized, by adding the jacket I completely improved this outfit without even thinking. I love it when that happens!

Polka Dot Dress

 My necklaces from Jeweliq.com came in and I'm so excited to wear them! All three are so pretty and they're great quality too.  I think this one is my favorite, I've already thought of a zillion different outfits I'm going to wear it with.  When I planned this outfit in my head I really liked it,  for some reason in these pictures I'm not crazy about it, but I like it enough to share. How would you style this dress differently?

Maxi Dress and Denim

I almost didn't purchase this denim jacket. I had already purchased two denim vests so I thought I didn't need a denim jacket as well. I'm glad I decided to get it anyways because, I've worn it three times since I purchased it last week. I have the feeling it's going to be worn to death. I also almost didn't purchase this dress. I saw it in H&M and didn't feel like trying it on. I decided to just buy it and if it didn't fit I would take it back.

 I'm glad I went on a whim and purchased these pieces because this is one of my favorite outfits I've worn in a while. So much in fact, I wore it two days in a row, dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday (shh... don't tell anyone!)

Casual High-lo Dress

The weather started warming up this weekend so I was in the mood for a summer dress and wedges. It was still a little cool so I threw on this sweater over one of my favorite high-lo dresses. I bought this dress at Brandy Melville, a few months back while visiting a friend in L.A. I fell in love with that store, I wish they had locations here in Florida. The style is casual and feminine with a little bit of edge.

Sunday Wish List

Summer is quickly approaching and I find myself in need of some key warm weather staples. First, I want various types of sandals, both flats and heeled. I'm really loving a simple dress sandal right now. I also can never have enough relaxed fit white tops during the summer. The ones I listed below also come in different colors, I want them all. Lastly, I am in sever need of various summer tops. I love wearing prints during the summer or vibrant colors such as, coral.

Shopping Round Up

I have accumulated many new pieces recently and I thought I would share. I have been craving some denim vests and jackets so I was very glad to add these to my wardrobe. I have also been on the look out for off-white skinny jeans, statement necklaces and some new summer dresses. 

Out of all my recent additions I am most excited about these statement necklaces from Jeweliq.com.
