New Booties

I saw these Jeffrey Campbell booties last year and fell in love. I never pulled the trigger and ordered them, before I knew it they were sold out everywhere. I'm a total victim of the whole "you want what you can't have"-- whenever something I kind of want sells out it makes me really want.. NEED it.  After signing up for Poshmark a few months ago and regularly perusing the new posts I found these lovelies! They are brand new, my size and the seller wanted half the original selling price. I don't know about you but I definitely call that fate.

Salem, MA

On our last day in Boston we decided to drive up to Salem. I had been wanting to visit every time I went up but we never had the time. Fortunately our last afternoon was free so we drove up. It was a neat town, bigger than I thought it would be but it still felt small and quaint. If you're ever in Massachusetts I definitely recommend visiting Salem, it's a cool place to see!

Boston Public Garden

I think of all the places in Boston the Public Garden is my favorite. Especially in the fall when all the leaves are changing it's beautiful. I would love to come back and visit in the spring when all the flowers are blooming.

On another note can you tell I packed a wardrobe revolving around walking and eating? Whoever decided that over-sized baggy sweaters are in right now deserves an award. I'm also obsessed with these boots. They are so comfy and I love the way they look a little bit edgy. I like combat boots on everyone else but I just can't pull them off, these are a great alternative.

New England Aquarium

Our second day in Boston was gloomy and rainy so we decided to head to the New England Aquarium since it's indoors. I had never been there before and it was pretty neat. I loved walking around looking at all the sea creatures. My favorite part had to be the penguins they were so adorable!

Freedom Trail

I'm back from Boston, I always hate coming back from vacation! This was my third time visiting since one of my best friends moved there last year. I love the city and it's a quick and easy trip to make from Florida. This time I went with my boyfriend (David) to celebrate our anniversary. We're college sweethearts and we've been together for five years now. We always try to plan a trip for our anniversary every year.

It was David's first time in Boston so on our first day we did some exploring and went on a tour of the Freedom Trail. I love wandering through the city and seeing/hearing stories about all the historical sights. I'm a little bit of a history nerd so that kind of stuff really interests me. It also doesn't hurt that the weather is amazing this time of year and the trees are all gorgoeous. I don't get to see the seasons change in Florida, so I love gawking at the all leaves and beautiful scenery.

Fall Essentials

Lately I have been concentrating on building a wardrobe of neutrals for fall. There's something so effortless and chic about wearing neutral peices. Plus it makes choosing outfits super easy, all of the pieces I linked below can easily be mixed and matched with each other.
