Buy it in Every Color

I'm a total believer in the saying, 'if the shoe fits, buy it in every color'.You might recall this dress from a couple of months ago, here. I ordered it online and loved it so much I decided to get the blue one as well. This dress is so versatile it can easily be dressed up or down, and while the material appears more formal, it actually feels like I'm wearing a giant t-shirt. So it's perfect for days when I need to look polished, but really feel like wearing PJ's-- story of my life.

Mint Maxi

I feel as though I say this whenever I purchase a new maxi dress but, this is my new favorite dress. I'm a huge fan of flounced tops and maxi dresses so of course this dress makes for an instant favorite-- oh and it's incredibly comfortable.

Newbury Street

Here is another OOTD post from my trip to Boston. This is what I wore for an afternoon of shopping with the girls. We walked up and down Newbury street which is one of my favorite places in Boston. The street is lined with a mix of chain retailers as well as, adorable little boutiques and cafes. The vibe and energy is so fun, there is live music and street performers everywhere. Definitely a must see area of Boston, even if you're not into shopping.

Bodycon Dress

I'm not going to lie--I bought this dress for the sole purpose of wearing it with this kimono jacket. The idea to put this outfit together popped into my head one day but there was a problem, I didn't own a bodycon dress. This is for good reason, I'm not a huge fan of the whole bodycon dress fad. A short, skin tight, unforgiving dress?-- No thanks. But pair it with a kimono, or boyfriend blazer and I love this LBD, I also think it would be adorable in the winter with an over sized sweater and some booties. So if you're like me, afraid to wear a bodycon dress, just be creative and wear it with pieces that make you feel comfortable.

*Don't forget to enter my Friday Link Up, it ends tonight! *

Tasca for Dinner

While I was in Boston we had to eat dinner at Tasca. It's the best Spanish tapas restaurant and it's right down the street from my friend's apartment. If you ever visit Boston and happen to be in the Brighton neighborhood I highly recommend this place. Their food and sangria are AMAZING.

Boston Recap and Shopping Haul

After a super fun week in Boston I am back in Florida. I love Boston it's such fun city and I love spending some time with my girlfriends. I snapped a few pictures while visiting, here's a recap of my trip:

We started the week off right with beer, which is a must while in Boston!

After having a few yummy flavored beers we walked around Fenway park, America's oldest baseball stadium.

We ate at the best Italian restaurant in the North End one night and then walked by Quincy market. The  way it was lit up was gorgeous.

The view of Boston from the Longfellow bridge, while on the way to see Harvard.

Me and my two best friends walking around Harvard campus, it was so pretty.

The huge Harvard library, I felt smarter just by looking at it!

Wine and Cards Against Humanity? Best night ever-- seriously, if you've never played before you must.

I also did a little shopping while I was there. Of course shopping is what my friends and I do best!

I didn't purchase these in Boston, but I thought I would include them in this haul. I placed an order with Sheinside.com before I left and my package was waiting for me when I came back, which made coming back to real life a little easier.

Sort of New Dress

I bought this dress at Forever21 months ago and I have never worn it. It's another Forever21 gem, the fit and fabric feel much higher quality than you would expect.  Even though it's not new to my closet, this is my first time wearing it so it feels like a new dress. Everyone loves wearing a new dress.

Statement Necklace

I love statement necklaces, a friend of mine gave me this one for my birthday and I'm a little obsessed with it.  It's not necessarily something I would have picked out for myself, but those are always the things that make the best gifts.

I'm also a little obsessed with short shift dresses right now, they're so fun for summer. I bought two at one of my favorite stores, Francesca's a couple of weeks ago.
